If you have a serious problem(e.g an illness), and someone gave
you a solution to that problem, won’t you take it as fast as you
can? Then why is it that when someone tells you the solution to
every problem is ‘Jesus’, you don’t want to take it? Has Jesus done
you a solution to that problem, won’t you take it as fast as you
can? Then why is it that when someone tells you the solution to
every problem is ‘Jesus’, you don’t want to take it? Has Jesus done
you any harm? Try him out. Most people want a solution to their
problems but the moment you bring up Jesus, they are offended.
My dear friends, there is a cure to every sickness, there is a miracle
to every impossibility, there is a healing to every disability. This
exceptional solution is called ‘JESUS’.
*The reason:
The main reason we feel discouraged and hopeless in this life
is because the devil has literally looked into our future and
knowing the wonderful plans God has for us, he(the devil) decides
to put discouraging thoughts in our minds through ‘worry’. The
is because the devil has literally looked into our future and
knowing the wonderful plans God has for us, he(the devil) decides
to put discouraging thoughts in our minds through ‘worry’. The
only way the devil works is by manipulating your thoughts. satan
uses the least opportunity to instill fear in you through your
thoughts. But if you truly understand that you are a child of the
most precious living father, your hope remains alive. Only Jesus
keeps that hope alive in you. Don’t worry. Worry is an effect of
fear and that is what the devil is good at. He instills fear in you
which leads you into worrying. Always think about the better
things that have happened to you; not the bad things. Jess always
wants you to look at the bright side but satan always reminds you
of the bad side so that you can worry and give up. People, God has
a plan for you all. The Bible says “I know the plans I have for you,
plans to prosper you and not to fail you” (Jer 29:11). God says HE
knows, not you know. HE knows. Doesn't that mean something
wonderful? Jehovah knows the plans he has for us. So, if the
creator knows the plans he has for us, why then should we worry
over little thing when he got everything under control. Let me put
it this way. All human problems bundled up together is absolutely
nothing to God. So if we worry, it implies that we are doubting our
Heavenly father's capability. Take a look at the cheap birds in the
air. Are we not of more value than them? So, if God can provide
daily food to these cheap birds, why on earth won't he provide for
us who were created in his image. Therefore, we should count
ourselves blessed and of great importance because we has and will
continue to provide. The English standard version bible clearly
says and I quote "look at the birds of the air, they neither sow nor
reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly father feeds
them. Are you not of more value than they"? (Matt 6:26).
As you can see, guys, I am not making these things up. It is clearly
stated in the bible(God's holy scripture). We have got to claim
what is rightly ours and shame this creature of the devil who thinks
he can mislead us. Let me say this like some of my African-
American friends "The Lord got your back. Ain't nothing to be
trippin' about. He got your back". Amazing, don't you think? We
are kings and priests on this earth and Jesus restored that power
and dominion to us which was once lost so that we could have
dominion over the earth and commune in fellowship with our most
precious father(God). Therefore, there is absolutely no reason to
give up on God or on ourselves because he is the same God and he
is always watching us. That is the gospel truth.
*The feeling you are a failure:
Let’s be honest with ourselves. One of the main reasons we
feel it is over is because we feel like losers in this life. And the
main reason we feel like losers is because we have not
accomplished as much as our friends have. For instance your
friend already has a Masters degree but you don’t. Your friend is
already married but you are not yet. Your friend has this wonderful
high paying job but your job barely makes ends meet. Your
feel it is over is because we feel like losers in this life. And the
main reason we feel like losers is because we have not
accomplished as much as our friends have. For instance your
friend already has a Masters degree but you don’t. Your friend is
already married but you are not yet. Your friend has this wonderful
high paying job but your job barely makes ends meet. Your
friend has a big house but you have a one bedroom apartment.
Your friend is a famous rich preacher, your are regular preacher in
a small town living a comfortable life. Let me make something
crystal clear. If you are defining your achievements in life based
on the achievements of your friends or neighbors, then you don't
even know the real meaning of achievement. Achievement is more
of an inner(spiritual) goal. It is more of an inward
accomplishment. Haven't you met people who look well
accomplished in life(externally) but would tell you they are not
satisfied(internally)? That is because something is missing on the
inside. And my friend, that missing thing is Jesus. Peace of mind is
the most accomplished factor that any human being can have. And
only Jesus gives that peace of mind. The Bible says "you will go
out in joy and be led forth in peace(Is 55:12a). People, we are
winners. We are survivors. Jesus is your survivor. Jesus is your
winner. I mean, don’t we have rich people out there who are still
not happy? What are they lacking? Do they have a piece of mind?
Don’t we have married people with smart kids who are still not
happy? Don’t we have successful business men out there who are
still not happy? The question is "do they have what it takes to be
happy"? Do they have Jesus? Now, am I saying it is bad to be rich
or successful? Definitely not. Success in life and after life depends
on your relationship with Jesus. Jesus=Grace=Happiness.
A friend of mine(Christelle Jap) taught me this equation of
recent i.e Grace + 0 = Everything. In other words, Jesus + 0 =
Everything OR Jesus + nothing = everything. This can further be
explained by the simple equation Jesus + something = nothing.
Now, I am not trying to teach Math here(even though it is not a
bad idea to teach religious math. LOL). The main point I am
making is is that Jesus is everything. Everything you have in your
life now is based on Jesus’ decision to give you. Your time is
coming according to God’s watch. As the famous preacher Joyce
Meyer said “don’t settle for anything less”. Therefore, henceforth,
your prayer should be "God, thank you for already saying yes to
this". It is done. Just thank him, praise him. Thank him, praise him.
Thank him, praise him. Let me say it one more time "thank him,
praise him".

*When we ask God for something:
When you ask God for something, he will give it to you
according to his will. When you ask God for something, there are
most likely 2 answers. The answers are either 'Yes now' or 'yes not
now(wait)'. If he says 'yes now', it means that he has responded
according to his will. When you ask God for something, there are
most likely 2 answers. The answers are either 'Yes now' or 'yes not
now(wait)'. If he says 'yes now', it means that he has responded
immediately and therefore we should thank him for it. If he says
‘yes not now’, it means he has responded but not immediately. So,
what we need to do in this case is to thank him in advance and
declare that it is done. When God says 'yes, not now', it is not
because he hates you. He knows that particular time of request is
not the best moment to receive it. He knows the future and knows
what consequences that thing may have on you at that particular
point in time. Recall that God always keeps us in suspense. That’s
just the way he is. Whenever you least expect of something, that is
usually when God gives you that thing. Sometimes, we ask God for
something and get it 5 or 10 years later and then we even forget
that we had asked him for that thing. Thousands of years to God
is nothing. 5 years to God could be 5 days, 400 years to God could
be compared to 400 days or 400 minutes.
The fact is that God is the beginning (John 1:1). He started
everything in the beginning (Gen 1:1). Most often, we say things
and take it just the way it is but if we actually seat and reflect for a
moment(i.e meditate) what statements really mean, we will be
amazed. That statement "God is the beginning and the end" alone
is very meaningful. It means he is the all and all. God is the
beginning, before the beginning itself was God. God is the end and
after the end is still God. So you see, he is all-round the clock. God
is also the 'today'. The bible tells us that God the father referred
himself to Moses as 'I am who I am'(Ex 3:14). Therefore, God is
still our today. God is the ‘I AM’. So, in conclusion, God is the 'I
was'(the beginning), God is the 'I will be'(the end), and God is the 'I
am'(today).

Out of God came the beginning. So a century to him may
seem like a hundred days or a hundred hours. So, when we ask God
for something in this lifetime, and he makes us to wait, he alone
knows the reason for making us to wait. And therefore, we must
exercise ‘patience’. God is the Alpha and Omega, the first and the
last. In fact, God is the ‘before-first’ and ‘the after-last’. Therefore,
any good thing that we will receive in this life is from God the
creator. That is the gospel truth.

*High expectations:
One of the reasons we feel like it is over(no hope) is because we
think that God's expectations are high. Thus, we tend to give up
completely. We keep thinking that God expects too much from us
simply because of what the laws and commandments have to offer.
But, let me make something crystal clear. The only thing we need
to do is to sincerely submit our hearts to Jesus, and he(Jesus) will
do the rest. Like I said before, Jesus is the solution to everything.
In fact, Jesus is everything and until the day we understand this, we
will never truly understand what God expects from us. Until that
blessed day that we truly embrace the fact that Jesus is all we need
for eternal prosperity, we won't be able to tell if we are going to
heaven or hell. Once you sincerely accept Christ in your heart,
you become very confident that you will go to heaven. "Therefore,
brothers and sisters…we have confidence to enter the most Holy
place by the blood of Jesus…"(Heb 10:19). I am not making this
up. This sentence is a direct quote from the bible. It clearly says
that we have confidence to enter heaven by the blood of Jesus.
Therefore, if we sincerely accept Jesus, it means we are covered by
his blood and if we are covered by his blood, it means we shall go
to heaven. So why does religion keep making us think that we need
to follow laws to enter into the holy of holies? What kind of
doctrine is that? Now I know some people are going to argue,
saying that Jesus supported the laws. I want us to be very careful
with what Jesus said about the laws and how he said them.

When Jesus said "I have come not to destroy the laws but to
fulfill them"(Matt 5:17), he didn't imply that we should follow
them. He meant he came for him alone to fulfill them, which he
did. If Jesus wanted everyone to fulfill the laws, he would have
said "I have come not to destroy the law but for us to fulfill them".
He respected all the 613 laws which no human being could ever do
or will ever do. That is why he had pity on us and gave us 'grace' so
that we wouldn't be condemned by the law anymore, but freely
come into Heaven. Yet, christians are denying this free gift from
God and killing themselves with numerous laws they will never
attend.

Now, have I said that God doesn't expect us to do good(as
explained in the law)? Nope! What I am saying is that you should
first accept Jesus and then he will do the good(found in the laws)
for you. No one can do good by himself. The moment you go
against one good law, you would feel guilty of sin and that is
exactly how satan traps you. But with Jesus, forgiveness is easy.
The main reason God gave the laws was to make the jews feel
guilty of sin. By the way, the laws were given strictly to the
jews(see Ex 20 - Ex 25). So why are we(non jews) even following
laws which were not given to us? Do you know that there are over
613 laws? Who on earth can obey all these laws? My dear brothers
and sisters in the Lord, the laws no longer define our
righteousness, Grace(Jesus) does. That is why (Rom 6:14) clearly
states that "we are no longer under the law but under Grace". And
(Rom 10:4) says "Christ is the end of the law so that there may be
righteousness for everyone who believes". My goodness, what
more do we want?

My dear friends, let no one deceive you that God's expectations
are too high and above our ability. Everyone has been given a free
gift to eternal prosperity, here and in Heaven. The question is "do
you accept it"? This free gift is called Grace(Jesus). All you have
to do is accept it and Jesus will work through you to the point
where you will never give up on him or on yourself. Man, God
loves you more than you can even imagine.
